James D. Scheffey
James D Scheffey joined Yergey.Daylor.Allebach.Scheffey.Picardi as an associate in 1976 and became a partner in 1980. His practice focuses upon estate planning and administration; real estate; municipal and zoning law; business transactional law; and family law. Mr. Scheffey currently serves as the Solicitor for the Borough of Bechtelsville, Borough of Elverson, and North Coventry Water Authority. In addition, he currently represents various small businesses and is also a title insurance agent for LandAmerica.
Mr. Scheffey has been admitted to practice before all courts in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1977. Mr. Scheffey graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1976, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, in 1971.
